PRONG and VOIVOD Bring Decades of Metal Mastery to Stroudsburg's Sherman Theater

The Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg, PA, bore witness to a monumental clash of metal titans as Prong and Voivod concluded their latest tour on Sunday night. Victor told the crowd in Stroudsburg that Prong's first tour in 1990 was opening for Voivod and that the band had always wanted to sound like a mix of Voivod and Killing Joke before thanking all in attendance for making it all possible, drawing a huge round of applause.

With a career spanning over four decades, Voivod has continually pushed the boundaries of metal, blending speed, progressive, and thrash metal into a singular sonic tapestry. Led by founding members Michel "Away" Langevin's thunderous drumming and Denis "Snake" Bélanger's commanding vocals, Voivod delivered a masterclass in musical innovation.

From their early speed metal roots to their more progressive and technical compositions, Voivod's performance was a testament to their enduring creativity and influence.
