In the wake of Central Pennsylvania's fiercest snowstorm this winter, the quaint Amish Country town of Lititz became an unexpected haven for guitar enthusiasts as the legendary John 5 graced Mickey's Black Box on February 13th. Despite the treacherous conditions outside, the venue was packed to the brim, eagerly awaiting a night of unparalleled shredding.

Taking the stage shortly after 9:00 PM, John 5 wasted no time in captivating the audience with his mesmerizing fretwork. Clad in a striking full-length white leather jacket adorned with his iconic red "5" logo, he effortlessly navigated between custom Fender guitars while mostly sticking with his new, signature Limited Edition John 5 Ghost Telecaster, while weaving a sonic tapestry that left the crowd in awe.

Throughout the 80-minute set, John 5's virtuosity knew no bounds as he seamlessly transitioned from one blistering riff to the next, leaving no room for respite. The highlight of the evening undoubtedly came in the form of an electrifying 8-minute-plus Motley Crue medley, expertly executed to perfection. For fans of the iconic band, it was a nostalgic journey down memory lane, evoking the "Wild Side" of yesteryears.

But John 5's prowess extended far beyond his Motley Crue chops as the former Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie and David Lee Roth guitarist ripped through some of those artists biggest his while displaying his genuine appreciation for the audience's dedication, acknowledging the biting cold outside and opting to forgo the customary encore break. Instead, he powered through, treating the audience to an uninterrupted onslaught of musical brilliance.

As the final notes reverberated through the venue, John 5 humbly thanked the crowd for braving the elements to share in his passion. His parting words, delivered with a touch of humor, resonated with the audience as he thanked the crowd in beautiful "Le Tits" (see video below for reference), encapsulating the essence of the evening: a celebration of music, camaraderie, and the unwavering spirit of rock 'n' roll.
