2025 US Tour is on the way based on quietly announced presales.
It looks like Swedish metal circus masters Avatar just pulled off one of the most metal moves possible—launching a US tour without even announcing it.

While the band’s official tour page still shows only international dates, a handful of U.S. shows making up an Avatar 2025 tour quietly appeared on Live Nation today, including a stop at Archer Music Hall in Allentown, PA on Friday, November 28, 2025. Even more wild? Presale tickets go live today (May 27) at 2PM Eastern.

Other dates listed on Live Nation show the band hitting venues across the U.S. throughout November and December, making this the likely start of a full North American run in support of their upcoming album.
Speaking of which...
A New Era of AVATAR Is Coming in 2025
Earlier this year, Avatar confirmed they were back in the studio working on album number ten. The new record—slated for release sometime later this year—was recorded in January and will come out via the band’s own Black Waltz Records.

Produced by longtime collaborator Jay Ruston, the album promises to push boundaries with what the band describes as a more progressive and melodic sound than fans have heard before. Writing began in 2023, and early comments suggest this could be one of their most varied efforts to date.
Nothing official has dropped yet from the band, but between the studio updates, the sudden ticket listings, and the suspiciously quiet rollout... something wicked this way comes.
Expect chaos. Expect drama. Expect Avatar.
